Key Responsibilities

  1. Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  2. Household Support: Managing light housekeeping, laundry, tidying up, and keeping their living space safe.
  3. Nutritional Support: Planning, preparing, and assisting with meals and feeding.
  4. Mobility Support: Helping with walking, transferring, position changes, or managing exercise routines.
  5. Health & Wellness Tasks: Providing medication reminders and assisting with health tasks as directed by your family member's personal care plan.

What Makes You a Great Candidate?

  1. The Right Connection: You are a child, relative, neighbour, or trusted friend of a New York resident who has (or qualifies for) Medicaid and needs home care.

  3. Compliance: Willingness to complete standard tax paperwork (W-4/I-9) and a pre-employment health screening required by New York State.
